#21by21

A national campaign bringing together sports organisations with business and policy-makers in a pledge to provide 21,000 community sport coaches and volunteers with mental health awareness training by 2021.

Please support the #21by21 campaign to increase mental health awareness in sport and physical activity.

“In the busy and often challenging world we all live in, resilient mental health is so important. The ability to find a safe space, a supportive network and a positive outlet for any concerns is foundational. Sport and physical activity can provide this and so much more. Heathy Mind + Heathy Body = Heathy YOU!” Ian Boyd, CEO, Notts County FITC.

Stronger Communities Through Sport

ConnectSport worked with the Mayor of London on this campaign to showcase and support local groups using sport and physical activity to benefit their community. Organisations were invited to submit a short video to raise the profile of their work. Throughout the campaign six organisations were selected to receive an award of £250. See some of the entries and stories about the six award recipients.

ConnectSport is managed by experienced media executives whose aim is to increase awareness and investment in community sport by giving it the same profile afforded to elite sport. All profits are used to help us tell more stories about this rapidly growing sector, and raise awareness of the brilliant work being carried out by staff and volunteers who often go unnoticed behind the scenes at clubs, charities and in communities across the regions. Please contact us to find out how we can help tell your stories.
