Using physical activity to rebuild independence after a devastating spinal cord injury

Back Up is a national charity that supports people affected by spinal cord injury to get the most out of life. For over 30 years, we have helped people and their families to rebuild their independence after a devastating spinal cord injury. We offer a diverse range of services, which includes a focus on physical activity through our course programme. We run several courses which offer people of all ages the chance to grow in confidence and learn practical skills for daily life by taking part in range of adapted activities like kayaking, abseiling, skiing and horse riding.
